Cut The Fluff/Mamavation Monday

Well, last week I fell off.  Not that I ate bad, but it’s just that i didn’t track my foods in the food tracker on WW online like I was supposed to.  And I was stressed, either barely ate, or ate what ever C-dub bought home for dinner( Chinese food anyone?).  But I tried to watch my portions at least, and pick healthy food when I did eat out.

I also finally pulled my wii fit balance board out of the box and actually used it.  My little mii is so fat!! :-(

So anyway, I weighed myself on Sunday(my weigh in day) and I was:

180.6

So that’s down .8 pounds!!!!!

I was so surprised!!

So my goals for this week are:

  1. Start couch to 5K program
  2. use wii fit/EA active at least twice this week.
  3. track my points!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cut the Fluff/Mamavation Monday

I know I know, this used to be random Mondays.  But I’m going to move that to another day and designate Monday fitness/weight loss day. 

I finally got fed up of seeing Jennifer Hudson sing in her size 6 dress and rejoined Weight Watchers last week.

My weigh in day is actually Sunday, but I’ll record all results on Monday. Including what I did right or wrong that week and what I want to improve on. Basically goals for the weight loss/get healthy journey.

My goal is to run somebody’s 5K this year.

At least.

But in the meantime, I need to loose weight.

I stepped on the scale on Wednesday, and weighed 184.6.

Not up or down really from what I’ve been weighing since Pookah was about 3 months old.

After I loss all 35 of my pregnancy pounds.

I joined weight watchers and set out to follow the plan with it’s “New” points system.

Do you know you don’t even put in the calories anymore?? Just carbohydrates, fiber, fat and protein.

So, some foods are more, some are less.

AND,

Most fruits and veggies are now ZERO points.  So you can have as much as you like!

This came in handy at work last night because by 5 pm, I had exhausted all of my points.

But at work, I had fruit salad and a salad and was fine.

So, when I weighed myself on Sunday, I was 181.4.

Yeah me!!!!!

It’s hard, I’m hungry a lot while my body adjusts, and I am drinking entirely too much water.

But I think it will work!

Especially when I finally add exercise to the mix.

Which I am going to do today!!!

Thoughts on a Friday Morning….

It’s Friday!

Pookah seemed to do better yesterday.  We only had two instances of bad diarrhea yesterday, and he tolerated all bottles with no pedialyte in them.  All had the probiotic in them.

He still won’t eat regular food though.  I hope that this too shall pass.

On the other hand, I applied at work for a full time position.  How am I going to manage that you ask? Hell if I know, but we need the money.  The problem is, someone else applied too.  How is my manager going to decide?

My Pookah’s birthday is EXACTLY one week from today.

We are getting his hair cut for the first time this weekend.  That stuff is wild!

My hair……..my hair………Lord the Fuzz!!!!!!!!!!

Harry Potter comes out today. 

But I can’t see it until Monday when the Pookah is at daycare.

I haven’t even begun to shop for food for Thanksgiving.

QVC has that Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer on easy pay……6 easy payments…………I want it in Gloss Cinnamon………..

I haven’t exercised at ALL this week.

And I’ve eaten pretty bad.

Sigh.

Well, off to sleep because I have to wake up and do it again tonight.

Cut The FLuff Update

Soooo, I finally finally got a hold of 30 Day Shred. 

I worked out ( ie killed myself) two days in a row.  I took a day off and then did a 30 minute power walk around my hilly neighborhood pushing the Pookah in that massive Chicco stroller.( I really want a jogging stroller!!!)

I was supposed to work out more this weekend but…….mega-sickness 2010  happened.

So anyway, I got on the scale and……………

I lost 4 pounds!!!

Now, I know some of that is the craziness of Saturday, but SOME of it has to do with my awesome workout and eating right!!!

So, to recap:

Starting weight: 184

Current Weight :180

Goals of this week:

  • workout with 30 day shred at least 4 days this week
  • Keep up with calories!
  • drink at least 64 oz of water every day.
